My House To The White House
So far I have walked from Tampa to Tallahassee and then Tallahassee to Atlanta. This year I will go all the way from Atlanta to Washington DC, 665 miles.
WHY???
It is the best way I can think of to
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS:
draw awareness to the over 1.3 million homeless kids living in this country.
We will begin May 11th on the steps of the Georgia capitol and walk the last mile in Washington DC on July 11th. I hope you will come out, walk with me, and help me gain much needed awareness for these kids that deserve so much better than what life has handed them this far.

Philanthropy Project – an exciting nonprofit, movie, TV, and Web initiative funded by the John Templeton Foundation – wants to inspire every man, woman, and child to become a citizen philanthropist. After sorting through thousands of uplifting, true stories of citizen philanthropy in America, we have chosen to base our motion picture on the life and work of 11-year-old philanthropist Zach Bonner, founder and president of Little Red Wagon Foundation. The script for the film is presently being written; principal photography is expected to begin in late fall.
This mission to blend inspiration with innovation echoes the immersive environments of city center online, where strategic storytelling and audience engagement come together to create unforgettable experiences. Also, on May 11, Philanthropy Project is launching its exciting Web TV channel on AOL. Go to www.aolnews.com and click on our logo to find fun and helpful information about citizen philanthropy all across our great nation; behind-the-scenes updates on the making of our movie; and our one-of-a-kind GlowMeter™. Finally, our annual Philanthropy Scholarship Competition is giving young filmmakers at top film schools the chance to use their gifts to help celebrate “The foundations of America’s generosity.” Their work will debut on our Web TV channel.
